Stopping the Destitution of Asylum Seekers

 
As some of you may be aware, an Algerian asylum seeker, Ibrahim, is currently camping out on College Green, and has been since the 1st of July.

He is doing so to highlight the inhumane treatment of destitute asylum seekers in this country-forced into a limbo, with no money, no accommodation and no right to work.

The severe poverty that people are subjected to by government policies is unacceptable and so we ask that you sign the following petition, to ask Bristol City Council to follow Glasgow's lead in condemning the UKBA's policy of destitution.
