WSM Bristol Newsletter August 2013
As I write we are three days into our summer camps. 120 children are learning about Jesus and 3 have started a friendship with Him over in Bath. We believe and faithfully expect more transformed lives as the weeks progress. Praise God! It is our favourite time of the year and we are looking forward to glorifying Jesus for three more sporty weeks in Bath, Frome and Bristol. Thank you for faithfully standing in prayer with us.

Get Sported Camp Update
With only one week to go we have received a record number of pre bookings. 32 children have signed in for the first week for camp and 21 for the second. The team have been praying for over 50 children to hear the powerful word and to get to know Jesus at the Park this summer. This year we have secured some foam javelins and beginner frisbees to add to our equipment supply. Also 40 NT Sports bibles have been kindly paid for by a local business man who is excited by evangelism and the role we play in our community. We thank God for his generosity and his support. Other exciting news is that our partnership with the neighbouring school has given us a new opportunity for the camps next year. Subject to more prayer we may be relocating to the local Primary School to work closer with the children who are hungry to hear about Jesus. Please continue to stand with us to pray for 18 more children to sign up in the coming week.
Young Leader Growth
Since last year we have been working closely with four talented teenagers who selflessly give their time and best ability to support us on our Get Sported Camps. This summer we will see four new Young Leaders join us. Georgina, Jack, Josh and Mike will be joined by Jess, Jack A, Lee and Sam. Jess and Jack A come to us as a teenagers who want to give something back to the camp they have enjoyed as children. Lee and Sam come to us from our partnership with Destiny Church. We are excited for them and ask that you join us in prayer for these new Young Leaders to settle in with us in the spirit of love and faith that this camp requires and for fast and long lasting friendships between them.
Ebay
This month we have been selling donated items on ebay as a fundraiser for the ministry. So far we have raised just under £200. We do need more items for upcoming weeks so we can continue our eBay fundraising. If you have any unwanted gifts or bric-a-brac please could you consider donating it to WSM Bristol fundraising. We would be happy to arrange to pick up from you. Please contact
