Boardmasters Mission Opportunity

Christian Surfers UK serving at the Boardmasters
3 - 11 August - Fistral Beach, Newquay 

For over 10 years Christian Surfers UK has played an integral role at the Boardmasters Surf and Music Festival, from litter picking to running the athletes area.

This year we have been asked to run the athletes and site staff refreshment area, which includes cooking bacon and egg rolls for breakfast, distributing lunches and giving out refreshments through the day. Through working with the surfers, skateboarders and site staff over the years there have been many opportunities to share our faith through conversation and in practical ways. Our main role is to serve and bless the athletes and site staff, however we are also there to enjoy the event and are blessed to have a prime position overlooking the action in the water. 

We are looking for a core team of around six people to serve at the event throughout the week. Accomodation will be provided and breakfast and lunch will be available at the event. If you are not able to do the entire week, but can do some full days we'd still like to hear from you. If you are keen to be involved and willing to work hard as well as having a fun week please get in touch ASAP.

Its always been one of our favouirite events, but with the traditional staff team of David, Johnny and Phil away at the CS International Conference it means this year in particular, we are currently short on volunteers.
