Church Action in a Climate Emergency conference


 

A day conference to support churches in taking further action to care for our shared environment.

The day will include inspiring speakers, practical workshops, creative expression, moving worship, and chance to network and share materials. It is taking place on Saturday 21 March, 2020 (venue to be confirmed).

Bishop Viv’s Lent Reflections at Bristol Cathedral

 

On Tuesdays in Lent, the Bishop of Bristol, the Rt Revd Vivienne Faull, will offer a series of reflections at Bristol Cathedral on the climate crisis, drawing on the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book 2020 Saying Yes to Life by Ruth Valerio.

The sessions will take place in the Chapter House at 6.30pm after Choral Evensong.

10 March: Christians, the Bible and the Climate and Biodiversity Crisis
(led by the Bishop’s Chaplain, Revd Canon Dr Martin Gainsborough)
17 March: The Water has Come Up to My Neck
31 March: The Right Time?
