Bristol East Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) Conversation

Never before in our communities has so much opportunity been available to make such a significant difference. And that includes you.

The ROC Conversation is coming to Bristol East and if you live, work, socialise or have an interest in this community, then you are invited to save the date Thursday 30th September.
From 7-9pm at the City Academy Bristol, Russell Town Avenue, BS5 9JH, we will:

  • Celebrate the good that is already happening in our community.
  • Discover how we can support those who work to serve us.
  • Help identify the key issues that really need addressing.
  • Get involved in suggesting practical solutions.
  • Become a part of the Action Team to ensure the Conversation isn’t just talk.

In over 250 communities ROC Conversations have made a difference.
As one person described it ... “Great and encouraging event and something I'd love to get involved in. Great for all the community to be together” a friend said “I feel like we’ve really achieved something!”.

Save the date and join the Conversation.   Book me in now     *Places are free but numbers are limited

ROC Bristol mid

Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) is delighted to invite you to attend the ROC Conversation taking place at the City Academy, Russell Town Avenue, Bristol, BS5 9JH on Thursday September 30th, 7pm-9pm.

ROC has considerable experience of hosting ’ROC Conversations’ having conducted over 250 of them across the UK. The two hour event is both simple and effective.

We bring statutory agencies, key community individuals and members of community groups together to celebrate the good work already taking place in the community.

Between us, we then determine where any gaps in provision may be and, critically, see what each person present can offer to bridge the gap. The conversation always leads to action … and positive change in the local community.

We always invite senior community representatives to ROC Conversations because we know of your desire to engage with community members and we also know that the community appreciates your presence.

The Conversation is open to all with an interest in the community and they can book in to the ROC Conversation for free, online at: www.roc.uk.com/bristoleast

There will also be an exhibition for local agencies to display their project. Please let us know if you’d like to take part by emailing

I hope you are able to join us on this exciting community occasion and look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,

Debra Green OBE
Founder & National Director
