Autumn Newsletter October 2022

Dear praying friends

A warm welcome to everyone, especially if you joined us this September to pray for our schools. We hope the newsletter below will encourage and inform you.
Tuesday 15 November is PrayDay the Europewide day for praying for schools. Do look at our resources focusing on Christian students - many joining SU’s Shine in Schools and others with special activities for Anti-bullying week. Partnering with the Centre of Chaplaincy, our two PrayDay prayer Zooms focus on School Chaplaincy. Please join us early morning or lunchtime event on this Eventbrite link.

Looking for some excellent Christmas assembly and lesson ideas? See page 7 and 8 of the Newsletter
A teacher friend recently reminded me of the blessing of Christians offering practical help to local schools, often the next step after praying. We will update our Love our Schools (5-19 February) resources, ready for the Spring.

We give thanks to God for everyone who's made a difference by praying for their local schools and our children and young people throughout the nation, especially in relation to the pandemic. With Omicron now waning at least some pressures on school leaders and staff are lifting.Do forward this email and our newsletter to those you know who pray for schools and please let us know your updated list of prayed for schools and news of answered prayers.   Save the Date: PFS Wales are holding a Prayer Zoom on Thursday 24th November at 12.30pm (Details to follow)

Every blessing Jane and Andy  Jane Newey and Andy Hughes
