Emergency edition - food shortages & empty shelves.
This special emergency edition of our monthly e-newsletter comes at a time when we had hoped the cost of living crisis would be having less of an effect on people by the summer. However, this is definitely not the case.

We have two short videos which show you the extent of some of the food shortages being experienced by the Wild Goose and our Foodbank.

Your support can ensure that there are sufficient meals available for homeless people at the Wild Goose, and enough food parcels for families and individuals at the South and East Bristol Foodbank.
The Wild Goose Day Centre

The dedicated staff and volunteer team are serving up to 160 meals a day, 4 days a week, to homeless people and those on low and insecure incomes.

Recovery Festival

We had a great time at the Recovery Festival a couple of weeks ago!
A huge thank you to the volunteers who prepared and packaged the lunch boxes in the Wild Goose kitchen, and then those who served the 600 lunches at the festival itself.

Stuart, Natalie, and peer volunteer Helen had many conversations with people interested in the Life Course, both those wanting to participate and other groups looking at the possibility of joining the franchise and running it themselves.

A great day of celebrating recovery!
