  'CATCH IT'

Ministry Focus
'And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.' 2 Timothy 2:2
Kingdom growth comes from the multiplication of God's message. When His Word is taught and caught, His expectation is for those that have 'grabbed it' to now 'give it away.'  Throughout our partnering network, we are seeing examples of the Holy Spirit doing just that and lives are changing. Below are a few examples within the past month of Jesus being taught and caught. Have a wonderful October and thanks for your ongoing interest in and support of this ministry. God bless you and stand strong! Grant & Team WSM

'TEACHING'

                                                       The Truth
In Burundi last month, one of the teams staged a 'Road show' traveling into different communities and sharing the love of God. In total, 6,948 people were reached and 946 of them chose to begin following Jesus. A different Community Sports team in Bujumbura staged a local soccer match which engaged players and 1,000 spectators; 100 precious people chose a new life in Christ!  Here in the UK, our local team of community coaches began back in schools for the new term and have been combining sports drills and life-skills with godly values experientially with approximately 1,000 young people every week.  One child who has been suffering from severe anxiety due to early years trauma has progressed from fearfully refusing to join in with an after school club to now thriving on the back of a praying and supportive coach that has journeyed with him and his parents. Glory to God.

'TRAINING'

                                                       To Teach
Recently in Malawi, 35 leaders were trained to reach and mentor inmates through sport; a visit to Blantyre Prison followed where hundreds of men were impacted for Jesus.  In Tanzania and also the Democratic Republic of Congo, 20 new leaders were trained in Level 1 Sports Ministry to enable them to engage in their communities. In Burundi last month, 38 coaches were trained to impact sports teams and communities through quality delivery and separately, 250 teenagers were equipped  to evangelise their peers in and through the powerful culture of sport.  Praise God for the opportunity to invest into hungry learners who will help multiply the sports ministry movement and grow God's kingdom. Please pray for them to do just that.
