Keep Sparks flying this Winter!

Earlier this year, Global Goals Centre launched Sparks Bristol – the arts, education and sustainability hub in the old M&S building in central Bristol. Welcoming over 9,000 visitors per week, Sparks is a sustainable shopping destination as well as a vibrant living classroom where school children and the public can learn and take action for a greener, fairer future. In six months, we’ve given fuel poverty advice to 1,315 people, saved 6,700 items from landfill, run activities for nearly 1,200 children, and provided a safe haven for those with sensory and mental health needs. And now that we have the brilliant news that we can continue until 2025, we want to do so much more!


But we urgently need your help to keep our doors open this winter.

Why your support is vital

Sparks Bristol is a collaborative charity project between Global Goals Centre and our partner charity Artspace Lifespace. We offer school workshops, community spaces, art and cultural exhibitions, recycling and reuse opportunities, and advice on travel and energy. We also offer trading opportunities to over 100 small local sustainable independent traders, including refugee-led sole-traders.


But we receive no government funding which is why we urgently need your support to continue this vital work and increase our community and educational impact.

How your donation will make a difference

could pay for creative workshop materials for people to gain practical skills, increase their well-being and save money.

could pay for four children to take part in an education workshop, inspiring the next generation to live more sustainably.

could fund two Repair Cafe sessions, enabling 20+ items to be saved from landfill and train the public in repair skills.
