We've got two special events coming up in May!

As part of this year’s Thy Kingdom Come, we're having a special online lunchtime prayer meeting for media. Honoured to have our very own Faith in Media anchor, Carla Adebekun host our time together with guests from across the media industry including: Feyisara Olukoga, Content Creator, Editorial Assistant & Podcast Host; David L'Herroux, CEO, UCB; Philip Tutt-Leppard, Director, 360 PR & Mentoring Programme Mentor, and Josh Hinton, Head of Communications, LICC.

Work in London? In the city that day? Then join us as we walk and pray for media together. We'll be following a bespoke route created by community member, Richard Smart. Media stops include Soho Photograph Centre, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. And we'll be welcomed at All Souls and led out in prayer by their Chaplain. Let your colleagues know - this is a great opportunity for us to gather together, encourage one another and pray for our industry.

A prayer for this time

Let's reflect on the Bible verse and pray together:

'Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties' (Psalm 139:23).

Father, thank you for today, for the change in seasons, for knowing you hold our lives in your hands. Help us as we approach Easter to be able to share its message of faith, hope and love with those around us. Let us be alert to opportunities to show who you are to others through our words or actions. Thank you that you know us, all the burdens we carry and the pressures we face in this industry. Give us strength for this moment and insight into the decisions we face. As you 'search and know our hearts' let us also rest in the stillness of knowing you are God. In Jesus' name, amen.
