Wild Goose Chase 2024!

A fun, family-friendly trail in central Bristol that is raising money for our day centre for people who are homeless, called the Wild Goose.

15 knitted wild geese are hidden at different locations in central Bristol, waiting to be discovered!

Along the way, children will find out about homelessness in an age-appropriate way.

Once all 15 have been discovered, a secret phrase will be revealed, which will unlock a special certificate, by emailing the phrase to .

The first person to email the secret phrase will win 4 x tickets to Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset!

43 maps have been sold already and as you can see from the photos above, children are having a blast. No-one has found all 15 yet, so the tickets are still up for grabs!

Digital maps are just £3 each.

In the last year, the Wild Goose has served 23,973 hot meals! "I come for food and connection. It means I'm not alone."

Join the Wild Goose Chase today to help people who are homeless in our city!

A chance to get on local TV!

BBC Points West are doing a feature about the Wild Goose Chase later this month and we need your help!

As well as interviewing a service user and Mick, the manager of the Wild Goose, Points West have asked for people taking part with children to be interviewed.

Pre-recorded filming (so it won't be live, don't worry) will happen on Friday 26th July, probably in the afternoon. The sort of questions covered will be:

-Any luck finding geese so far?!

-Summer holidays underway - perfect way to spend the day?

-To the child/children - where do you think the geese might be hiding out? Any tips?

-To the parent/guardian - this is all for a good cause and will help make a difference won't it?

If this is something you'd be willing to help us with, please can you email me ASAP: / . Or you can call me to discuss on 07539 591445
