This is our FINAL News@TEN and our 50th edition (we think)! James shares more about his recent trip to Northern Ireland and how you and your church can support Harvest for the Hungry. Also, we've two very exciting things happening in 2025 - so watch to find out more!

Online Prayer Gathering with Erion Cuni

In just under a fortnight, we will host a lunchtime online prayer gathering. Our special guest will be Pastor Erion Cuni who leads Life in Christ (Church of God) in Tirana, Albania. Erion is a dedicated pastor, church planter, pioneer, educator and encourager. If you can make it, please join us to hear more about his work and the needs of the Church in Albania, and pray together with our supporters and partners.

Register in advance to join our prayer gathering on Monday 7th October. We will start at 12:00 noon. The meeting will take place on Microsoft Teams, but you do not need a Teams account to participate. Click the button below to register.

As a bonus and TEN's desire to keep you informed of our plans and purposes, our prayer gathering will be directly followed by our strategic update, which sets out our strategy for the next few years. If you would like to listen to what we will share, just remain on the call. We expect the update to take approximately 45 minutes.

Camps Bring Hope in Moldova

Vasile Grigorita pastors Brinza Baptist Church in Moldova. Here is an extract from Vasile's latest newsletter to encourage you and spur you on in prayer.

We thank God for helping us to organise a summer camp for our local children. Each time the children from our village saw me, they always asked me when we were planning to have the camp. With God’s help, the children’s wishes and expectations came true. This year, about 80-90 children were present and enjoyed a well-prepared programme especially for them by the youth group from our church.

The children are looking forward to another camp and we’re thinking of a winter day camp. We’re praying to God to be able to gather all the financial resources we need for this camp and to bring this joy to the children who want to learn more about him.

In the past week, TEN Partners Officer Ken Millwood has visited partners in Moldova, including Vasile. Here are some of Ken's photos. You have probably seen that several countries have recently suffered significant rainfall and flooding. The picture below shows how the drought has affected the sunflowers. Here is what Vasile shared:

It’s been the hottest and driest summer recorded by the meteorologist the last hundred years. This phenomenon has affected our agriculture and people are already worried about the prices for most food products that might grow exponentially in the near future. We plead with you to continue praying for our country that is already affected by the war in Ukraine, and now we face this drought that is going to make the material situation worse for our local people.

Supporter Conference 2025: The Story Continues

We are holding our Supporter Conference next year and it would be wonderful to see you there. 2025 is a big year for us because it marks 60 years of Eurovangelism (now TEN). God has been so faithful to us, as he always is. We want to give a huge thanks for everything, including your support, and look ahead with excited anticipation for what God will continue to do through us, our partners and you.

Tickets will be available from 1^st October at the Early Bird price of £20 until 31^st December inclusive (full-price tickets cost £25). Lunch is included.
