Kevin's story of living for 10 years in 'temporary' accommodation and then finding hope in one of our Hope into Action homes, is not to be missed!

"When I looked at what would be my room, I fell in love with it. I spread out on the double bed and was so happy! There was a bench in the garden and I sat there, looking at the view and thought, ‘yes, this is for me.’ " - Kevin.

Thank you from Joy the Wild Goose!

A huge thank you to those who took part in the Wild Goose Chase over the summer months. You raised an amazing £1,491! That could provide 497 hot meals for people in the Wild Goose.

All 15 knitted / crocheted geese were bid on in the silent auction and are now in their new homes :-) Thank you to everyone who took the time to make the geese!

It was such a fun event and we hope that through it, as well as having fun and raising money for us, children may have been introduced to the realities of homelessness.

Sleepout 2024!

Friday 4th October 10pm - Saturday 5th October 7am.

If you are planning to join us at the Sleepout, can I ask that you register ASAP because we've only had a few people register. It would be a shame to waste this opportunity to meet other inHope supporters and experience some of the challenges of sleeping rough.

When I did it a few years ago, it was eye-opening. I felt the pain of sleeping on a hard and cold surface. I didn't sleep well at all and the next day was a write off as I recovered. To think that people have to do this night after night is unbearable and it really increased my compassion and empathy for people I come across who are sleeping on the streets.

Why not take on this challenge for yourself and see how your heart might be changed?
