Music of Hope in Bulgaria

Christmas preparations always start with organising all the handbell choirs. This year we had an extra flow of volunteers within the choirs. We now have thirty-six players rehearsing across three different ensembles. I have to say, Sunday is now a super-packed rehearsal day with an added main service and youth meeting. It is so encouraging to see so many people want to express their faith through music!

Coordinating these volunteers is the harder job. But I'm proud to say that we are planning to visit two of the main shopping malls and Sofia Christmas Fest to perform with the Sofia Handbell Choir! This will give us an opportunity, not only to sing and praise in such public places, but also to give out invitations to all our Christmas service events.

This is a great opportunity for people to find out about Jesus while listening to the Christmas cheer of bells at the mall. Many of our church members who are not usually involved in worship have requested that a vocal choir be formed for the Christmas concert. I am very excited to have thirty volunteers to sing and learn harmony this year. I pray our rehearsals are enough and that we give God the purest and best praise he deserves!
Please pray that all we do this Christmas will be in God's vision, blessing our city and the people we meet. Pray for boldness and no fear of judgement, so we will be open to spreading the gospel and drawing more souls to Jesus!

Encouraging Those God Has Called in Montenegro
By Srdjan & Ruth Vorotovic - Kotor Evangelical Church, Montenegro

We were so humbled and strengthened in the Lord when our brother Stefan Ralevic, Pastor of Backa Palanka Baptist Church, Serbia came to visit us. He called to say they had been praying for us and that God had put in his heart to come to encourage and pray with us. Stefan came with two other brothers, Boban and Stefan. They joined our Bible study in Tivat and encouraged the believers with a word:
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 8:30

Who are we that God is so mindful of us; that he sent brothers all the way from Serbia to encourage and assure us that we are not alone in this good fight of faith.
Please pray for Srdjan and Ruth, for all our brothers and sisters sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in Montenegro.
