Dear friends,

We would like to invite and encourage you and representatives from your church to come along to the Bristol Churches Shelter (BCS) Winter 24-25 Celebration and Information event on 4th June at 6:30pm.

Why is BCS important and relevant to the Church?
  • BCS has been a collaborative response offered by the Church in Bristol to help reduce rough sleeping since the winter of 2017.
  • BCS has established itself as a sustainable and effective intervention with excellent outcomes for rough sleepers.
  • BCS has maintained its original intent of being a means through which the church serves the needs of the city and shows God’s love both to its guests and to delivery partners, inclusive of Bristol City Council.
  • BCS cannot run without the tangible involvement of churches across the city through volunteering, providing meals, befriending guests, and supporting the project financially.

To clarify inHope’s role – we provide management and governance support and employ the key staff BUT no funding is provided from inHope to BCS.

We would love to see you on June 4th and tell you more about Bristol Churches Shelter.

God bless
