Welcome to the Christian Surfers UK, Salty network, 90 second update!

On Thursday 18th September, we came together online, for our 1st ever Salty Network Gathering. We welcomed friends old and new from Scotland to Cornwall, from Dubai to Liverpool!

We prayed together, we listened to the words of Psalm 89 together and heard the call to “sing of the Lord’s great love forever”, and that “the heavens praise The Lord’s wonders and faithfulness”. We reflected on The Lord that rules over the surging seas, “when its waves mount up you still them” and we asked God if he could let some clean, surfable sections slip through! And we were reminded that “righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne, Love and faithfulness go before him”. This is the God that sets the heartbeat of Christian Surfers across the planet!

We took time to listen to one another, to hear what was going on in the many CS chapters, missions and groups across the country.

We shared about the Mens Weekend coming up on the 3rd of October, there are only 5 places left, get in there! We shared about the Women’s Weekend coming up on 7th November, which will sell out in record time! And we shared plans for the Surfers Bible Surfathon taking place during October half term. More details will be attached to the newsletter that accompanies this update.

Yeeeew!
Bless you CS crew!
