Wow, it is warm here in the UK! We are so used to jokes about our weather but increasingly, we are experiencing these periods of intense heat.

We hope our May News is an encouragement to you, a blessing and an inspiration. We have really been encouraged by what God is doing through His people, as you'll see as you read on. You are part of this work, and we wouldn't be able to continue without your support. Thank you!

For The Love of God's Church
We are delighted that our dear brother, Pastor Dusan Beredi (Bera) has published his first book. We have been able to provide funds for the book's printing, as we want to encourage our partners in their God-given ministries and gifts in their context.

Here's something of what Bera shared with us:

And finally, the day came. Through God’s faithfulness and through your support, my first book has now been printed and officially presented. Thank you so much for your support. You are true friends.

On 10th May, we had the joy of presenting [the book] My Place in the ChurchAlthough the title speaks about finding one’s place, this is first and foremost a book about the church itself. I love the church, and I especially love seeing the church function the way God intended it to function. The book asks an important question: How can every believer discover their place in the Body of Christ and become part of what God is doing? It explores spiritual gifts in the context of community, service, leadership, and practical church life. My desire was not simply to provide information, but to encourage people to move from simply attending church to actively serving within it.

We have already sold 150 copies, and churches have begun purchasing multiple copies for use within their congregations and ministry settings. The response so far has encouraged us greatly. One reader responded:
“Everyone who serves makes mistakes along the way, but it is still better to serve than to stand aside. God will continue leading us as we serve, even through the small things.”
We have also launched a seminar connected to the book called How Can I Love the Church Enough to Serve? The goal of the seminar is to help believers think practically about the church, service, spiritual gifts, and finding their place in God’s family. Please pray with us that this book will become a blessing to many churches, small groups, and believers, and that many people will discover their place in God’s family and begin serving with joy.

We have great news! Arton Veliu is our newest partner! Arton, with his wife, Monica, serves the people of a village in Kosovo. The couple have been demonstrating God's love through compassion ministry, establishing ministry groups and faithful Christian witness at the Hope Centre.
Arton's dream is to establish a church in the village and to see God worshipped in the town by people from the community.

Because you have supported our Spring Appeal, we have been able to commit to supporting Arton for the next few years. Thank you for making this possible!

If you would like to support more of the next generation of Christian leaders, why not support our Spring Appeal? We hope to raise £60K to honour over sixty years of God's transformative work through our wonderful partners and us and we're almost halfway there.
