Preparing the Way for Camp Fokus

Last week, a team from Northern Ireland joined Lucy and Robbie of the TEN staff team to help prepare the Camp Fokus site in Lika, Croatia for the summer camps.
Rather than getting involved in the fun activities, games and storytelling that are a big part of summer camps (but still hard and vital work!) Ellen, Erin and Ruby decided to worship through cleaning and preparing the camp site for the guests who will arrive on Monday.

Across the Balkans and Eastern Europe, our partners will host camps for children, young people, families and couples. Some of our partners will host retreats for people who, with God's help, have been trying to overcome addictions, or have done. There will also be camps for people who are terminally ill, their families and people who have been bereaved. Some partners will organise holiday clubs at their church.
We really value your prayers for every aspect of our ministry. The ministry of each of our partners is the driving force of what we do, so please pray for all the camps and summer activities, and especially for each participant. Camps and retreats can bring such blessings as people enjoy God's wonderful creation, take time out, deepen friendships and spend time studying God's word.

Worship & Intercession Across the Balkans
|

|
The travelling continues as Lucy sets off again this week. Lucy will be joined by Ken (at TEN) and Heather, Claire, Daniel, Poppi and Toby as they head out to the Balkans for a worship and intercession trip that takes in three countries. Organising a team trip that takes in several countries is a first for us, but it is something that has been prompted by our partners.
Because our partners can feel isolated, having other Christians visit can be such an encouragement to them and a profound learning experience for the believers who visit. The team will meet with several partners to get involved with their ministries, to pray together for the local areas and the nations, to worship and to witness.

The first stop is Tirana, Albania, to spend time with Erion and Gentiana Cuni. and then on to Berat, to worship with Artur Tushi.
The team then cross the border into North Macedonia to meet with Emil and Vesna Puzderlievi. From there, the team travel to nearby Ohrid and spend time with Anita Dimitrievska.

The final stop in North Macedonia is Stip, to worship with Ivan Petrov and his family (TEN partners Petre and Daniela Petrovi). On the penultimate day, the team will arrive in Kosovo before spending the last leg of their journey in Kacanik with Arton Veliu, our newest partner.

We value your prayers for the team and for every partner and community they visit. We don't know what to expect, but we know that God goes before us. Pray that they will shine God's light and that lives will be touched by God's wonderful love.
