TEN: July News - Three Countries. One Calling. Our First Worship and Intercession Trip

We wish God's rich blessings upon you. Thank you for being part of our work among our partners in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. This month's news is full of encouragements and affirmations as God's people respond to His call and work together for His good purposes.

Prayer, Praise & The Holy Spirit
Lucy Reid and Ken Millwood of the TEN staff team recently led our first worship and intercession trip with five people from the UK. Our partners had told us they would be encouraged by having brothers and sisters come to worship with them and pray for the needs of the local areas. Here's a photo of the team and believers from Fellowship of the Lord's People praying over Prizren, Kosovo.

The trip took the team to three countries - Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo. Our newest partner, Arton Veliu (Kosovo) very kindly drove the team everywhere they needed to visit! In this photo, Arton is taking the selfie of the team, who are visiting Anita Dimitrievska (centre in the black outfit) in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
Reflecting on the trip, Lucy told us:

This trip was something new for TEN and it was deeply impacting. It was beautiful to worship, share and spend time with our amazing partners across these nations. Each night was the same structure, but different because of the way God would confirm a word and make His presence felt. I think it is fair to see we were all very moved by the time we spent together.

Affirmation of God's Call
Six years ago, our friends Robert and Krasi Salamanovi, together with their young son, David, moved to Radovis to plant a church. At the start of this month, Robert was ordained as a pastor. The ordination was attended by twelve pastors from different cities, as well as many believers.

Pastor Robert was also awarded a diploma in Theology by Pastor Sasho Georgievski, who is also Director of the Theological School in North Macedonia. Robert and Krasi continue to serve with regular church services, children's classes, and creative workshops. They often have teams from other countries, with whom they do evangelism and social projects.
Robert told us:

For me, the ordination as a pastor and the completion of theological school was a journey and confirmation of God's mercy and grace. It also represents responsibility, dedication and my availability for God's work in Radovis, and confirmation [that I serve here].

Lord of The Harvest
Harvest for the Hungry is a brilliant way for individuals and churches, especially around Harvest time, to give thanks to God for His blessings and share that with people who struggle with food poverty. Take a look at our latest video and learn how Rock of Ages in Romania used Harvest for the Hungry funds to show God's love:

Getting the Gospel Out There
Last week, Dragan and Biljana Manevi of Resen Evangelical Church in North Macedonia had a mission week. In Bitola, they were part of a team that did outreach in the streets of Bitola. They shared 220 Christian tracts, 100 New Testaments, and 100 copies of Dragan's own book that warms against superstition. Pray that Dragan will be able to get the books reprinted as he now needs 1,000 more copies!

Also last week, the outreach team had a event with young Roma people. Dragan asked us to pray:

Pray for the Roma youths and teenagers to be protected from the evil things of this world, and also pray that God raises Roma leaders for the next generation.

Blessed Trinity at Roma Bible School
In Serbia, our partner, Dusan Beredi (Bera), who is Senior Pastor of Protestant Christian Fellowship Novi Sad, shared about the privilege of teaching at the Roma Bible School. Here's what Bera had to say:

Although most of the lecturers are Roma pastors or leaders, I am grateful to be welcomed as a trusted friend. This month, sixteen students from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia gathered in Leskovac [in southern Serbia] to study the doctrine of the Holy Spirit.
Their assignment is to record a short video to teach someone about the Trinity. I am excited to see what they have learned. While I was there, the students surprised me by celebrating my birthday with a cake!

Bera also reported that Roma Bible Schools are being launched in Germany and Sweden to equip Roma leaders across Europe - praise God!
Please continue to pray for the all the summer camps, retreats and holiday clubs during the summer. Bera shared with us:

Summer camps often become the beginning of new relationships rather than the end of an event. Please pray that the children, teenagers, and families we meet this summer would continue connecting with our church, growing as disciples of Jesus Christ, and finding a place within the life of our church community.
About Bera & Mira

We hope you've been uplifted by the wonderful ways God is working through His people. Thank you so much for being a part of His kingdom work in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

The TEN team.
